Chris Bannon is an innovator and pioneer in digital marketing, helping global and local brands alike. He started one of Pittsburgh’s first interactive marketing firms in 1995 which he sold in 1999. He then founded the post-digital marketing firm, Buzzhoney in 2001 to help brands transform their capabilities by weaning them off of the failed, traditional agency model. With an emphasis on strategic thinking and big creative ideas he helps his clients capitalize on the ever-changing marketing landscape. Chris has spent his career consulting to executives in brands across four continents including General Electric, KraftHeinz, IBM, General Motors, and PPG Paints.
For the last ten years his focus has been in digital marketing for the Retail Healthcare and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods spaces, helping organizations like The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and supermarket chain Giant Eagle adopt and execute winning growth strategies.
When he is not solving big problems with little post-it notes he can usually be found on a sideline somewhere coaching one of his kids’ sports teams or teaching them the finer arts of making unintentionally hilarious short films
